Leaving your hiding place, you walk with confidence towards the droids. Alsahb takes the lead, playing on the cover story. Garen, Lazador, and Vex trail behind him.
“Halt,” says one of the droids. “No one is allowed inside spaceport control without the proper authorization. Move along.”
After strong-arming their way past the droid guards of the spaceport facility, Sunspear’s Coterie faced a roomful of spaceport personnel. Fortunately, a ship was in the process of landing, and no one seemed to notice the band of adventurers trying to slice into a spaceport terminal. Vex did the dirty work while Garen provided assistance. The slice was fast and smooth, and the locking clamps were released on the Kryat Fang.
The group, still unnoticed, waltzed out of the spaceport control tower and towards the Kryat Fang’s hanger. Peering inside, however, Lazador found two droid guards standing at the entrance of Captain Trex’s ship. Garen and Alsahb decided it would be best to blast their way onto the Kryat Fang, and so dove for cover and started firing. Vex, acting out of his programmed loyalty, however, tried to the end the fight before it spiraled out of hand. He stood his ground, fired, and fizzled. His blaster was jammed. The droids—having recovered from the ambush—called in backup and blasted Vex to the ground.
Lazador froze. He wasn’t use to acting quickly. But seeing Vex writing on the ground, snapped him out of his shock. The hangar was cold and gray, he noticed. Is this it? He didn’t care anymore. He was too tired of Mos Shuuta. Today he would be leaving this planet one way or another. He leveled his blaster at the droid guards and charged into battle.
