Vorn refused to provide Sunspear’s Coterie with the HMRI. He claimed that he had promised it to a pilot named Trex, who in turn, needed it for his ship—the Kryat Fang. Vorn was willing to make a deal, however, and told Garen that in return for a quick favor, he would hand over the HMRI at a discounted rate. Sunspear’s Coterie agreed to Vorn’s task: strong-arming a woman in Mos Shuuta’s shantytown, a woman named Rana.
As Garen, Lazador, and Vex neared the shantytown they were ambushed by three deathstick junkies. They quickly dispatched their assailants and located Rana’s house. She was leery to allow them entrance and forced them to remain in the entryway. Garen intuited that all was not as it seemed and that, perhaps, Vorn wasn’t being wholly truthful. He decided it would be best to leave Rana’s hut. In return, she offered what little she knew of Vorn, which was that he owned a little loved droid that would willingly tell Sunspear’s Coterie the location of the HMRI.
True to Rana’s word, Lazador—having stole over the rear wall of Vorn’s shop—found the droid. He revealed the HMRI’s location and that he was glad to make life a little more difficult for Vorn. Garen was angry at being ambushed. He decided, however, that Teemo posed more of a threat. For Sunspear’s Coterie, the best course of action would be the one that saw them off Tatooine.
Crouching behind a small rock formation before the entrance of the spaceport control facility, Garen, Lazador, and Vex watched as a Twi’lek stormed out of the facility and right past Sunspear’s Coterie. Garen hissed at him to stop, which, fatefully, he did. Alsahb Bn’ear recounted his story to Garen, telling him that though his ship had recently been stolen—most likely by Teemo—he was in possession of an access card. Garen and Alsahb decided to join forces and see if they couldn’t, using Alsahb’s access card, talk their way past the droid guards standing at the entrance of the spaceport control facility.
Leaving your hiding place, you walk with confidence towards the droids. Alsahb takes the lead, playing on the cover story. Garen, Lazador, and Vex trail behind him.
“Halt,” says one of the droids. “No one is allowed inside spaceport control without the proper authorization. Move along.”
